The verb ᒫᑎᐧᐋᒦᓲ maatiwaamiisuu s/he plays by herself/himself is made from the stem maatiwaam- of the VTA verb ᒫᑎᐧᐋᒫᐤ maatiwaamaau and the verb final -isuu (final -isu plus the 3rd person ending -u). Such a verb is called a reflexive verb.
