Diminutive
Observation:

To say that something is small, the suffix -ish can be
added to a noun.

| ᒥᑎᐦᒌ | mitihchii | ‘a hand’ | |

| ᐊᑎᒻ | atim | ‘a dog’ | |
| ᐊᑎᒧᔥ | atimush | ‘a little dog’ |
For words that contain a -t-, the -t- sometimes becomes -ch-:
