Today\u2019s standards require Unicode fonts.<br \/>\r\n    <img src=\"\/img\/bjcree.png\" alt=\"BJCreeUNI Font Image\" \/> <img src=\"\/img\/bjcree2.png\" alt=\"BJCree2UNI Font Image\" \/><\/p>\r\n<p>To learn the syllabics and to see the mapping between the roman and syllabic orthographies , view the <a href=\"https:\/\/eastcree.org\/syl-keyboard.html\">Syllabics Chart<\/a> (requires Adobe Flash Player)- complete with spoken sounds.<\/p>\r\n<p>You need to\u00a0download and install Cree fonts. Most people today type using the <a title=\"Syllabic Chart\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eastcree.org\/keyboard.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">roman keyboard<\/a> where each cree character corresponds to a series of roman characters on the <strong>QWERTY<\/strong> keyboard. Avoid <em>Euphemia UCAS<\/em> and <em>Arial MS<\/em> as they do not display the correct <em>sha<\/em> and <em>shu<\/em> characters.
