For example <span class=\"bjct\">\u146d\u14c2\u1427\u140b\u1431\u1426\u144e\u14bb<\/span> <span class=\"crt\">kiniwaapihtim<\/span> &#8216;s\/he looks at it&#8217; is a verb with an <span class=\"crt\">-im<\/span> stem, <span class=\"bjct\">\u1405\u1456\u14a5\u1426\u140a\u14bb<\/span> <span class=\"crt\">utaamiham<\/span> &#8216;s\/he hits it&#8217; is a verb with an <span class=\"crt\">-ham<\/span> stem.<\/p>\r\n<h3 class=\"head\">Stems ending with <em>-im<\/em><\/h3>\r\n<p><span class=\"bjct\">\u146d\u14c2\u1427\u140b\u1431\u1426\u144e\u14bb<\/span> <span class=\"crt\">kiniwaapihtim<\/span> &#8216;s\/he looks at it&#8217; is a verb with an <span class=\"crt\">-im<\/span> stem. This <span class=\"crt\">-im<\/span> does not appear in all the forms, as some forms have a shortened stem, without the <span class=\"crt\">-im<\/span>. For example when we say <span class=\"bjct\">\u146d\u14c2\u1427\u140b\u1431\u1426\u144e\u14a7\u14a1<\/span> <span class=\"crt\">kiniwaapihtimuch<\/span>, we see the stem <span class=\"crt\">kiniwaapihtim<\/span> and the suffix <span class=\"crt\">-uch<\/span>.
