What is a Paradigm?

Looking at the different types of endings that a verb stem can take and regrouping them according to similar form and meaning, including all the persons variation defines a conjugation or paradigm. The conjugations have been given labels and numbers across related dialects across the wider Cree language, which allows for comparison. So for example, the Southern dialect of East Cree does not have a paradigm #05, but the Northern dialect does. Northern Cree #05 is comparable to Labrador Innu #05.
